Terence Davis gradually became a regular member of the Toronto Raptors rotation in his rookie season. Despite Davis going undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, the young wing won his place in the reigning NBA champion’s roster.
Following the team-mandated quarantine in Toronto, Davis spent some time working out in Miami and then got back home in Southhaven, Memphis according to TSN’s Josh Lewenberg.
“I want Fred, I want Kyle, I want these guys to be able to trust me if I get in the game during the playoffs. So that’s why I’ve been in the gym everyday, because I want those guys to trust me and so I can show them I’m ready to be part of you guys,” he said on a Zoom call, according to TSN.
The University of Mississippi product was averaging 7.1 on 46.3% from the field and 39.6% from arc in his first season in the NBA.
